Preparation
- Pour lemon juice into a bowl.
- Peel the apples, remove the cores, cut into 8-10 mm thick rings, dip in lemon juice and drain.
- Whisk the batter, cinnamon and milk until smooth and leave to stand for 5 minutes.
- Heat plenty of clarified butter or oil (approx. 1-1½ cm deep) in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Dip the apple rings in the batter, allow to drain slightly, and fry in the pan until golden brown on both sides.
- Drain on paper towels.
- Arrange on plates and dust with powdered sugar.
