Mixed Salad with French Dressing

lettuce to taste (e.g. iceberg lettuce, romaine lettuce, lollo rosso)

tomatoes

LEIMER Croutons Cheese, alternatively: Croutons Herbs, Croutons Onion-Garlic
Dressing
70 g
mayonnaise
100 g
plain yogurt
20 g
tomato ketchup
15 g
tomato paste
15 g
medium-hot mustard
1 dsp
white balsamic vinegar
2 dsp
olive oil
1 Piece
garlic clove (peeled and finely chopped)
1 dsp
herbs to taste (fresh or frozen)
salt, pepper
0.5 tsp
tabasco (to taste)

Preparation

  • Wash and trim the lettuce, then cut it into bite-sized pieces. Wash the cucumber and slice it thinly. Wash the tomatoes and cut them in half. Peel the shallot and slice it into thin rings.
  • For the dressing, combine the mayonnaise, yogurt, tomato ketchup, tomato paste, mustard, vinegar, and oil in a bowl and whisk well.
  • Add the garlic clove and herbs and mix in.
  • Season to taste with salt, pepper, and tabasco if desired.
  • Pour the dressing over the salad and serve sprinkled with LEIMER Croutons.
