Preparation
Meatballs:
- Add the Parmesan to the mixing bowl, chop for 7 secs/step 10 and transfer to a bowl.
- Add half of the onions to the mixing bowl, chop for 4 sec./speed 5, push down with a spatula, chop again for 4 sec./speed 5, add half of the olive oil and steam without measuring cup for 5 min./90°C/level 1.
- Add minced meat, egg, breadcrumbs, half of the Parmesan cheese, half of the Italian herbs, salt, pepper and cinnamon and knead for 3 min.
- Form small balls from meat dough and refrigerate.
- Rinse mixing bowl thoroughly.
Tomato sauce:
- Preheat oven to 200°C top/bottom heat.
- Put the remaining onions and garlic in the mixing bowl, chop for 4 sec./speed 5, push down with a spatula, chop again for 4 sec./speed 5, add the remaining olive oil and steam without measuring cup for 5 min./90°C/level 1.
- Add the tomatoes and chop for 3-5 sec/step 6.
- Add the remaining Italian herbs, salt and pepper and steam for 10 min/95°C/step 1.
- Pour the tomato sauce into a baking dish, spread the meatballs in the sauce and bake on the middle shelf for approx. 20 min.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan and bake for another 10 minutes, then serve with pasta.
