Preparation
- Pour lukewarm milk over the Bread Cubes and mix gently. Leave to stand for 10 minutes.
- Cut the onion into small cubes and sauté in a little butter. Heat the remaining butter in a separate pan until it is liquid.
- Wash and finely chop the parsley.
- Add the sautéed onion, parsley, melted butter and eggs to the Bread Cube mixture and mix well. Season with salt and pepper. Leave the soft dumpling mixture to stand for another 10 minutes.
- Bring a large pan of salted water to the boil.
- Form dumplings with moistened hands and place in the boiling water. Reduce the heat and leave the dumplings to stand for approx. 15 mins.
