Mini dumpling sauerkraut casserole

Ingredients (for 4 portions)

2 Pack
Burgis Knödelinos® (mini dumplings)
1 Piece
150 g
Bacon cubes (from the bag, jar or can)
500 g
40 g
LEIMER Breadcrumbs
Clarified butter
3 dsp
Vegetable oil
Mixture of herbs to taste, e.g. Mallorcan herbs

  • Prepare the Burgis Knödelinos® in the pot according to the package instructions.
  • Finely dice the onion and sauté in a little clarified butter in a pan until translucent. Add the bacon cubes and brown. Then fry the sauerkraut in this pan as well. Deglaze the bacon-cabbage with a ladle of dumpling water.
  • Now put the finished bacon-cabbage into a casserole dish and spread the finished Knödelinos® on top. Mix the breadcrumbs with vegetable oil and the herb mixture and place on top of the Knödelinos®.
  • Bake the casserole at 200°C top/bottom heat for about 15 minutes and then serve.
