Breadcrumbs Mash

In the production of LEIMER breadcrumbs, the food raw materials are opened in the baking process. Breadcrumbs mash is therefore perfectly suited for child food and senior diets.

Ingredients breadcrumbs mash 1

  • 250 ml milk
  • 3 tbsps LEIMER breadcrumbs
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 20 g butter

Ingredients breadcrumbs mash 2

  • 300 ml milk
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 3 tbsps LEIMER breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg yolk

Cooking instructions

Bring the milk to the boil, stir in salt, sugar and breadcrumbs, take it from the stove and let it swell for 2-3 minutes. At the end, refine it by stirring in the butter or the egg yolk.

Our tips:

  • The breadcrumbs mash can also be made from LEIMER “Mutschelmehl” or wholemeal breadcrumbs.
  • Serve the mash with fresh berries, stewed fruit or grated chocolate.
